Lesson material is presented via a multimedia application on each student’s computer screen. Study materials include content that has been developed specifically for online learning by academic experts. All eTeacher lessons are conducted online in small groups (6-8 students) or in private sessions (one-on-one). The classroom is virtual, the teacher is live. The backbone of eTeacher’s system is our virtual classrooms and real live teachers, teaching in real-time. Lesson content is delivered by voice, video and "shared whiteboard" technology.

Courses open every month. Classes are available during the week and on Sundays, during the morning, afternoon, and evening hours.

eTeacher accepts all major international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). Students can also use PayPal or transfer the money directly into the company’s bank account.

eTeacher provides the following language courses: Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, Yiddish, Biblical Aramaic, Chinese and English.

Our Modern Hebrew courses are equivalent to Ulpan courses. At the end of the first beginner’s level course you will have learned the Hebrew alphabet and acquire 500 useful Hebrew words that you can use in a basic conversation.


You will also learn to read and write short and simple texts. As you advance through the levels, your reading, writing and speaking skills will improve significantly.


By the end of the final advanced level course you will be able to express yourself and understand fluent Hebrew, as well as read a Hebrew newspaper and surf Hebrew sites on the internet.

Yes. eTeacherHebrew offers a special Hebrew for Kids course suitable for students at the ages of 5-16 (classes are divided according to age), whose native language is not Hebrew and have either no prior knowledge or a little knowledge of the language.

Once the course starts the schedule for group lessons does not change. However, if you prefer a flexible schedule you may choose to sign up to a private lesson instead of a group class. In a private lesson you are free to schedule your lessons with your teacher to suit your needs. Get more info

In case you need to miss a class, all of the lessons are recorded and kept on our servers, so you can always login and view the recordings at your convenience. Get more info

Your username and password can be used on one computer at a time. This means that you can connect to your lesson from any computer anywhere in the world.


So basically, you are not limited by time zone or location. If you are traveling, and, just contact us in advance, so we’ll calculate the time difference for you.

Even though you can perform a level evaluation test prior to the beginning of the course, If you find, once the course has started, that the level is too easy or too difficult you can always transfer to a different level. Get more info

Our teaching method uses a friendly technology of videoconference, which means that you sit at home in front of the computer and see the teacher live on your computer screen.
