In the Bible, "Abi" is a girl's name. It is the shortened version of the name "Abijah".
Abi, or Abijah, was the mother of Hezekiah, the king of Judah.
"His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah." 2 Kings 18, 2. Compare with 2 Chronicles 29 1: "And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah."

But what does the name mean. I could never get to that information. I clicked on "Abi" and could not learn what the name means.
