Abijah (Aviya, Aviyah, Abiah)
אֲבִיָּה
The name seems to be composed of the word "אָבִי" (avi, "my father") and the letters יה (the name of God).
There are different people in the Bible called Abijah. One of them is the second son of the prophet Samuel; another one - Abijah the son of Jeroboam - was the king of Judah; and another one - Abijah the son of Rehoboam - was the king of Israel. There is also one woman called Abijah: the mother of Hezekiah, the king of Judah.
"And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David, and Abijah his son reigned in his stead." 2 Chronicles 12, 16
