בַּת-שֶׁבַע
Literally, the meaning of the name is "seven-year old (girl)", but following the etymology of the city name Be'er-Sheva, the name Bat-Sheva can be understood as "(a woman) of oath" (see Genesis 26, 31-33).
Bath-Sheba, Uriah's wife, later became King David's wife. She was King Solomon's mother.
"And David comforted Bath-sheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her, and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon, and the Lord loved him." 1 Samuel 12, 24
