Solomon (Shlomo)

Solomon, King David's son, was Israel's third king. The Temple was built under his reign. According to tradition, Solomon, who was the wisest of men, is the composer of the books "Proverbs", "Ecclesiastes", and "The Song of Solomon".
"Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was established greatly." 1 Kings 2, 12
