Let’s get started with everyday Hebrew words and situations

The course focuses on reading and writing Modern Hebrew. Throughout the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet) and vowels, and acquire 500 words in Hebrew used in basic conversation on a variety of topics.
Students learn words and situations that one would encounter on a typical day in school, at home or with family and neighbors, and celebrate Jewish holidays and special days in class.

Express your opinion more fluently in Hebrew

The course focuses on grammatical structures in Hebrew such as present and past tense, infinitive construct, prepositions, and verb conjugation, and introduces ways of using and identifying various modes of language.
The students are presented with written social situations and express their opinions and thoughts in an oral and written manner. Students converse with one another and with the teacher, and enhance their reading, writing, and conversational skills in a supportive virtual environment.

The Ulpan teaching method was initiated soon after the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, using associative learning to teach Hebrew in Hebrew. eTeacher implements the Ulpan method to teach, using basic vocabulary revolving around Jewish holidays, traditions, modern day Israeli culture and current affairs.

 

The classes focus on speaking, reading and writing. Throughout the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet), vowels, and acquire a vocabulary of roughly 500 words in Hebrew, enabling them to conduct a basic conversation in Modern Hebrew.
