The course focuses on reading and writing Modern Hebrew. Throughout the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet (Aleph Bet) and vowels, and acquire 500 words in Hebrew used in basic conversation on a variety of topics.
Students learn words and situations that one would encounter on a typical day in school, at home or with family and neighbors, and celebrate Jewish holidays and special days in class.

The course focuses on grammatical structures in Hebrew such as present and past tense, infinitive construct, prepositions, and verb conjugation, and introduces ways of using and identifying various modes of language.
The students are presented with written social situations and express their opinions and thoughts in an oral and written manner. Students converse with one another and with the teacher, and enhance their reading, writing, and conversational skills in a supportive virtual environment.

The course builds a solid ground for fluent speech, focusing on correct grammar in Hebrew. The class meets every week and practices the use of the correct grammar in speaking, reading and writing. Homework assignments are given every week as well as a list of new words learnt in class. Throughout the course students expand their vocabulary which significantly improves their level of speaking. Students must complete homework assignments sent by the teacher after each lesson.

The course is designed to enhance all the language skills of the students: making conversations, reading and writing. It provides the students with a useful vocabulary in various topics. While focusing on everyday Hebrew, the course also includes other registers of the language, such as literary and journalistic language.
The course provides the students with the grammatical knowledge they need in order to feel confident in understanding and using the language.
The class meets once a week. Students are requested to complete homework assigned to them by the teacher.

The course focuses on enhancing all language skills of the students with special attention given to engaging in conversations.
Each class contains a reading part and a discussion part. Through the reading of articles from the newspaper as well as pieces of literature, the students improve their reading comprehension and enhance their vocabulary. Through the discussion, the students improve their speaking skills and listening comprehension.

Read a Hebrew newspaper and explore some social issues of Israeli society
The course presents newspaper clippings and articles that have appeared in the Israeli media over the previous week. The selected pieces are designed to help explore some of the major issues and social problems facing Israeli society. Each topic is followed by a live discussion in Hebrew.
The class meets once a week, students must complete homework assignments sent by the teacher to facilitate work on their writing skills.
