Class One - A Jewish State
This class will examine some of the dilemmas involved in the creation of a Jewish and democratic state and ask whether it is indeed possible or necessary. We will examine the Status Quo agreement of Ben Gurion with the ultra orthodox and ask whether Israel needs a constitution.
Class Two - Dilemmas
Through case studies we will look at more dilemmas in a Jewish state. In particularly we will look at the case of Brother Daniel, Gush Katif and the growth of refusal in the army on religious grounds. The lecture will conclude with a discussion regarding the alleged loss of Judaism in a Jewish State.
Class Three – Jerusalem, the Holy City
Jerusalem, the holy city, lies at the crux of the world’s religious conflict. This class will look at Jerusalem, modern and old and will discuss the aspirations of its inhabitants.

He developed, in conjunction with The Jewish Agency of Israel and The Ministry of foreign Affairs an online advocacy training seminars for Jewish communities worldwide. Over 2500 students participated in the course. He also developed the Israel advocacy toolbar.
Born in Britain he received his first degree in Political Science at the University of Wales. Neil immigrated to Israel in 1988 and soon after received his Masters Degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
